YucaTreks designs tours for people who are not keen on touring the Riviera Maya and Yucatan with large groups. This concept was conceived and developed by a group of local residents who wanted to share their intimate experiences that made them fall in love with area. We believe in authentic exchanges that highlight the lifestyle and unique history of the region. We want to share our accumulated knowledge with visitors who chose this Mayan region for their holidays. Our passion for everything local develops our tour itineraries to encourage an intimate  interchange between people, culture and history as an experience, not just a tour.

There is nothing extreme about us, we just want to share

YucaTreks tours are designed for everyone, taking physical levels, knowledge of Mayan history and interest in diverse environments into consideration. We look to challenge your understanding of the Mayan culture, environment and local knowledge of the Riviera Maya, we do not look to challenge you physically. Our guides are skilled and trained in helping our guests be comfortable in new environments yet assist if you want to step out of their comfort zone and climb a Mayan ruin, or learn to snorkel in a cenote. We share our abilities with you, so you gain more from your experience and fondly remember what you saw and learned.
